International Airport in Reynosa on Thursday, restoring nonstop service between the two cities for the first time in several years.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rgvbusinessjournal.com\/news\/07\/02\/2026\/volaris-returns-to-reynosa-with-nonstop-guadalajara-flight\/\">initially announced in February<\/a>, is part of a broader expansion by Volaris and Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Reynosa, it reconnects the border city with Guadalajara, one of Mexico\u2019s largest manufacturing and technology hubs, at a time when business leaders continue pushing for stronger domestic air connectivity to support investment and executive travel.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thursday\u2019s arrival was marked by an inaugural ceremony attended by representatives from Volaris, OMA, the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, airport officials and local and state leaders.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Former Reynosa Mayor Maki Esther Ortiz Dom\u00ednguez, who attended the ceremony, called the new route \u201canother step toward strengthening connectivity, tourism and economic development\u201d in Tamaulipas.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe will continue working toward a more connected state with better and greater opportunities,\u201d Ortiz said in Spanish.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new service adds another domestic connection for Reynosa as manufacturing investment, nearshoring and
