Cr\u00e9dito de la foto | Kristen Mosbrucker-Garza <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La zona de Balboa Acres se encuentra justo al oeste de la calle 23, entre la autopista 83 y Military Highway.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El proyecto de mejora de las compuertas del canal de Balboa de la ciudad consisti\u00f3 en la sustituci\u00f3n de cinco compuertas manuales por otras autom\u00e1ticas, cada una de ellas equipada con v\u00e1lvulas para evitar el reflujo durante las lluvias intensas.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El proyecto de construcci\u00f3n, con un coste de 610 000 d\u00f3lares, tard\u00f3 unos siete meses en completarse y concluy\u00f3 en septiembre. El contratista general fue Diverse Construction, con sede en Brownsville, y la empresa de ingenier\u00eda fue Perez Consulting Engineers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michael Cisneros, propietario de Diverse Construction, afirm\u00f3 que ha observado que este a\u00f1o hay m\u00e1s oportunidades para proyectos de drenaje en el condado de Hidalgo.
