Labor Market Trends

This dataset highlights labor force activity across cities and counties in the Rio Grande Valley. Each entry represents a year of reporting and includes information on employment and unemployment levels for specific areas.

The dataset begins with the Year and Period, followed by the Area name, its identifying Area Number, and the Area Type (city or county). It also notes whether figures are Adjusted or Not Adjusted. Core labor measures include Employment, the total number of employed individuals; the Civilian Labor Force, representing all people available for work; and Unemployment, which counts those without jobs. Finally, the Unemployment Rate provides a percentage measure of joblessness within each area.

Together, these columns present a structured view of local labor market conditions over time. Users can browse, search, and download the data in Excel, CSV, or print-ready formats.
