Construction firm SpawGlass is seeking subcontractors and suppliers for a new Health Education and Research Building at the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen, marking another step toward expanding the university’s academic and research facilities in the Rio Grande Valley.
The company has scheduled a virtual pre-bid conference for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, to discuss construction opportunities for the project.
The planned building will include instructional spaces, teaching laboratories, administrative offices and areas where students can study and collaborate, according to a project announcement from SpawGlass.
A pharmacy program will be housed in the facility, with compounding and analytical laboratories, clinical skills training areas and dedicated faculty offices.
