El Pollo Loco is planning a new $1.5 million restaurant in Weslaco, according to a newly filed state construction record.
The restaurant is planned for 1115 Telfair Drive and will span 2,954 square feet, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The privately funded project carries an estimated construction cost of $1.5 million.
Construction is listed as beginning Sept. 21 and is expected to be completed Dec. 1, according to the filing. Construction dates and costs listed in state filings are estimates and can change.
