New Cavender’s store planned in Weslaco, state filing shows

WESLACO, Texas — Plans for a new Cavender’s store in Weslaco were filed this month, state records indicate.

Cavender’s, a Texas-based western-wear retailer with locations in Harlingen and Brownsville, would expand its Rio Grande Valley footprint with the Weslaco site.

The project covers a 15,630-square-foot interior finish-out at 1025 N. Texas Blvd., Suite 9A-9B, within Weslaco Palm Plaza. 

The work includes renovating existing retail space and adding two ADA-compliant restrooms.
