Brownsville will once again serve as the Rio Grande Valley’s home for a statewide startup and investment event expected to connect thousands of entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders across Texas.

The eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization will host the Rio Grande Valley edition of Texas Venture Fest on Oct. 1, marking the fourth year of the simultaneous statewide event.

Texas Venture Fest connects founders, investors, business leaders, students and organizations that support entrepreneurs through events held across Texas. This year’s gathering is part of Texas Startup & Tech Week, which runs Sept. 28 through Oct. 2.

For Rio Grande Valley entrepreneurs, the Brownsville event provides a local entry point into that broader network, allowing founders and organizations to make connections in the region while participating in a statewide event focused on startups, entrepreneurship and innovation.
