Beach Water Park has filed plans for a $750,000 project to reconstruct its go-kart track and add a large shade structure at its South Padre Island property, according to new state records.
The project calls for rebuilding an approximately 728-foot-long, 20-foot-wide go-kart track at a new location within the water park at 33261 State Park Road 100.
Plans also include a 19,200-square-foot shade structure on newly constructed, engineered concrete foundations, according to a filing registered Oct. 21 with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Construction is scheduled to begin Dec. 1, 2026, and be completed Jan. 31, 2027.
