Pharr is launching a new business forum next month aimed at bringing together industry leaders to discuss the future of international trade, logistics and investment in the Rio Grande Valley.
The inaugural Gateway Forum is scheduled for Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pharr Development & Research Center, 850 W. Dicker Road.
The city is organizing the event with the Pharr International Bridge, Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce and Pharr Economic Development Corporation.
The forum will feature panel discussions with business and industry leaders focused on cross-border commerce, logistics, investment and economic development, according to the city.
