Small businesses in Mission have until the end of October to apply for grants of up to $15,000 to help cover the cost of improvements, expansion and other investments.
The Mission Economic Development Corporation opened applications Oct. 1 for its Ruby Red Ventures – Build Mission Fund, a program aimed at helping existing small businesses grow without taking on debt or giving up ownership in their companies.
The application period closes Oct. 31.
Eligible businesses and technology startups can use the funding for needs such as equipment purchases, facility renovations, technology upgrades and marketing, according to the Mission EDC. The program also supports operational sustainability, working capital and projects that retain or create jobs.
