Bert Ogden plans $20M renovation and expansion of McAllen corporate campus

Bert Ogden Auto Group is planning a $20 million renovation and expansion of its corporate campus in McAllen, according to a newly filed state construction registration.

The privately funded project, known as the Bert Ogden Corporate Campus–North Lot, calls for the renovation and expansion of three existing buildings totaling 50,565 square feet at 3201 N. 10th St., according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Construction is scheduled to begin Dec. 1, 2026, with completion targeted for Dec. 1, 2027.

Project documents describe the work as a major renovation and alteration that will include selective demolition of existing framing, interior finishes and fixtures before the buildings are renovated. The plans also call for site improvements, including new sidewalks, driveways and landscaping.

The project is being developed by Fern at Tenth LLC, which owns the property. State records indicate the project is privately funded on private land and is not being financed by a tenant.

McAllen-based Orange Made Architecture is listed as the project’s design firm, while Felipe Guerrero is the registered accessibility specialist for the development.

Although project filings do not specify how the renovated campus will be used, the investment represents one of the larger corporate renovation projects recently registered in the Rio Grande Valley.

The filing comes as businesses across the region continue investing in modernizing office, commercial, and industrial properties, reflecting ongoing confidence in the Valley’s long-term economic growth despite broader economic uncertainty.

The project remains in the registered phase with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Additional details, including construction contractors and specific building uses, have not yet been released.
