Rio Bank is planning a $5.3 million new bank and commercial office building in McAllen, according to a new state filing.
The McAllen-based bank plans to construct a 19,000-square-foot building at 720 E. Jackson Ave., according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The privately funded project will include commercial office space, retail banking services and a drive-thru, along with improvements to the property.
Construction is scheduled to begin Sept. 21 and be completed May 21, 2027, according to the filing.
