An industrial coating company plans to invest $6 million to expand its Mission operations, creating 45 jobs while retaining another 80 positions already in the city.
Ecoat.us, an Oklahoma-based company that provides advanced coating services for industrial equipment and components, announced the expansion Monday, according to the Mission Economic Development Corporation.
The 45 new positions are expected to pay an average of $19 an hour.
The expansion will increase the company’s capacity in Mission, although Mission EDC did not disclose the size of the expansion, a construction timeline or when the new jobs are expected to be filled.
