The college’s Advanced Manufacturing mobile training lab will depart Harlingen on Nov. 10, offering hands-on instruction tailored to the workforce needs of participating companies.

The initiative, part of TSTC’s Accelerated Training Solutions division, aims to help manufacturers train employees in specialized technologies while reducing the need to send workers to training facilities.

“For us, it comes down to responsiveness and accessibility,” Cledia Hernandez, TSTC’s vice chancellor and chief business development officer, said. “Texas industry moves fast, and we are constantly looking for ways to adapt and meet employers right where they are with relevant, on-demand training.”
