Nordstrom Rack coming to McAllen

McALLEN, Texas — A Nordstrom Rack store is coming to Las Tiendas Shopping Center in McAllen, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. 

The $3.6 million project calls for the renovation of a 30,561-square-foot space at 700 E. Expressway 83. The plan is to convert existing space into a Nordstrom Rack retail store with a sales floor, offices, and stock storage. 

The site sits along one of McAllen’s primary retail corridors, serving regional shoppers traveling the Interstate 2 corridor.

The filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation lists Cielo Paso Las Tiendas LP as the property owner and Arcadis Inc., a Seattle-based firm, as the design firm.
