7 Brew Coffee plans $1.25M drive-thru in McAllen

7 Brew Coffee is planning a new $1.25 million drive-thru location in McAllen, continuing the rapidly expanding coffee chain’s growth across the Rio Grande Valley.

The company plans to build a 510-square-foot, prefabricated coffee stand at 3601 N. 10th St., according to a new project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Construction is scheduled to begin Oct. 19 and be completed by Feb. 15, 2027.

Unlike a traditional coffee shop, the small footprint reflects 7 Brew’s drive-thru-focused business model. The company says its stands do not have indoor seating or a lobby, with a menu centered on coffee and espresso drinks along with energy drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.

The McAllen project comes as 7 Brew continues building out its presence across the Valley.

The chain currently lists locations in Pharr, Mission, Rio Grande City, Brownsville and two in Edinburg on its website. Its Mission location at 101 S. Shary Road opened in late July, adding another Hidalgo County market to the chain’s regional footprint.

The state filing identifies Tejas Brewistas II LLC, a Dallas-based Texas limited liability company, as the owner of the McAllen project.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing is a preliminary construction notice and does not guarantee that a project will proceed according to the listed cost or timeline.
