The city of McAllen is planning nearly $2 million in renovations and improvements at the McAllen-Hidalgo International Bridge, one of two international crossings in the city’s bridge system.
Three projects totaling $1.925 million were registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Wednesday for the city’s facilities at 1023 S. International Blvd. in Hidalgo.
Construction on all three is scheduled to begin Oct. 1 and be completed by June 30, 2027.
The largest project, estimated at $1.35 million, calls for renovating an 8,903-square-foot administration office in Building C along with a restroom facility identified as Building E.
